This morning was the NASA’s last space shuttle launch. I used to dream about becoming an astronaut and exploring space when I was younger and I’ve always wanted to experience the launching of the space shuttle. I wish I was there to see it go and I am grateful for the internet for providing videos and photos of the moment so I can experience it for myself.

cute! But sure to get lost. :/ Although…I’d love to find one in my mail box:)

I’ve always found string to be interesting to use in projects as it can symbolize many things, such as connections, time, a life, a journey. The use of string here is rather more literal than symbolic however. I love the color. I would love to see this in person to see how it is constructed. Love the idea.
